Privacy & Data Governance Analyst

Location: Hybrid role based in Brugherio, Italy, with onsite attendance at hirify.global offices several days per month.

Salary: €26,000–€32,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop, update, and maintain data maps for systems and business processes involving personal data.
• Work with business stakeholders to collect, validate, and document data processing information.
• Collaborate with IT, Information Security, eCommerce, Analytics and Marketing, Legal, and People teams.
• Support privacy rights compliance, data verification, and information governance projects.
• Identify and document retention requirements across systems and business processes.
• Improve governance processes, controls, and documentation while supporting additional team and local office tasks.

Requirements

• Experience in IT, compliance, data management, data privacy, IT support, or a related field.
• Understanding of privacy principles, regulations, and governance practices.
• Familiarity with privacy-by-design concepts in technology, systems, or cloud environments.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Very good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Visio, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with TrustArc or similar privacy management tools.
• Interest in developing expertise in privacy and the changing regulatory landscape.
