AI Engineer

Location: London, UK; hybrid. Work from home is available on Mondays and Fridays, with office attendance on other days.

What you will do

• Improve the customer chatbot and expand the account actions it can complete autonomously.
• Develop faster and more accurate document extraction pipelines.
• Design LLM-driven workflows for case management.
• Identify manual processes that can be replaced with effective AI systems.
• Own solutions from discovery and prototyping through deployment, evaluation, and monitoring.

Requirements

• Strong engineering skills and experience building production systems.
• Hands-on experience using LLMs in real workflows.
• Experience with prompt design, retrieval pipelines, agent workflows, and evaluations.
• Understanding of business processes and sound judgement about AI automation opportunities.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems, test hypotheses, and progress with partial information.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain trade-offs and influence stakeholders.
