Location: Marks, Mississippi, United States; on-site maintenance work with occasional road service

What you will do

• Repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel trucks and equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, engines, HVAC, suspension, drivetrains, steering, and braking systems.
• Maintain hydraulic, electrical, control, and air systems on refuse vehicles.
• Diagnose malfunctions using electronic tools and perform preventative maintenance.
• Perform line maintenance welding, fabrication, and basic tire work.
• Provide safe road service and return fleet equipment to operation efficiently.
• Complete company training and other assigned maintenance duties.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of technician experience diagnosing and repairing gasoline- and diesel-powered equipment, or graduation from an accredited automotive college or technical school within the next three months.
• Experience with light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicles, including Class 1–5 and Class 7–8 trucks, aircraft, or ships.
• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and perform basic inspections with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, suspension, steering, drivetrains, and diesel emissions.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Nice to have

• Automotive Service Excellence certifications T1–T8.
• Commercial Driver’s License.
