Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid

What you will do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and configure suitable solutions.
• Test and validate configurations against business and functional expectations.
• Design and develop proof-of-concept solutions with senior engineers.
• Configure conversational flows, agent orchestrators, and knowledge bases.
• Integrate third-party or client systems through APIs and write code within the platform.
• Document configurations and recommend enhancements based on feedback and analysis.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of combined experience in technical configuration or implementation and client-facing solution delivery or presales.
• Experience with low-code or agentic platforms such as Appian, Camunda, IBM, Pega, or comparable conversational AI and orchestration tools.
• Hands-on experience building conversational flows and configuring agent orchestrators.
• Experience setting up knowledge bases, including document ingestion, chunking, prompt tuning, and failure analysis.
• Ability to assess technical feasibility, estimate delivery timelines, own solutions end-to-end, and work with product, project, and architecture stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information, or a related field; familiarity with Python.

Nice to have

• Experience with HTML, CSS, Angular, front-end development, or BPMN.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent client implementations with shifting priorities.
• Post-kickoff customer ownership or account-management-adjacent experience.
