Data Team Lead (Clinical Data Management)

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end delivery of data management services for single- and multi-service clinical projects.
• Lead project planning, execution, close-out, communications, milestone delivery, and financial oversight for data management activities.
• Coordinate study setup, device integration validation, database revisions, and technology implementation.
• Perform and oversee data cleaning to deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality data to sponsors.
• Lead internal study meetings, sponsor meetings, audits, and study kick-off activities.
• Track project progress, identify risks, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with programming teams on automation and process innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, clinical, biological, mathematical sciences, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of direct data management experience, including at least 1 year as a CDM project lead.
• English fluency and advanced English proficiency required.
• Advanced proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, and email tools.
• Advanced understanding of the drug development lifecycle and the clinical research process.
• Must be based in South Africa for the home-based role.
