External Communications Manager, EMEA (Healthcare)

Location: Paris, France

Salary: EUR 68,570–94,290 per year, depending on experience and location.

What you will do

• Develop and execute external communications strategies supporting business priorities across EMEA.
• Lead proactive engagement with international, regional, national, business, and healthcare trade media.
• Create thought leadership, executive visibility, corporate storytelling, and disease awareness communications.
• Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Public Affairs, and country teams on campaigns, scientific milestones, congresses, and corporate initiatives.
• Manage relationships with communications agencies, media partners, and external stakeholders.
• Monitor the external environment, support reputation and issues management, and measure media impact and share of voice.

Requirements

• Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in external, public, or corporate communications, ideally in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical technology, or another regulated industry.
• Experience developing regional or international communications strategies and managing media relations.
• Experience with scientific congresses, disease awareness initiatives, corporate milestones, and international markets.
• Excellent writing, editing, storytelling, stakeholder management, and agency management skills.
• Fluent English is required; French, Italian, or German is advantageous.
