Bid/Project Manager (Tolling Systems)

Location: Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs, or Szeged, Hungary. Remote work is available only within Hungary due to European taxation regulations. Willingness to travel approximately 25%–50% is required.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end tender and RFP processes from initial analysis through final proposal submission.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders across Sales, Legal, Finance, Delivery, and cross-functional teams.
• Develop commercial and technical proposals, business plans, cost calculations, effort estimates, and pricing models.
• Ensure bid documentation is complete, high-quality, and delivered on time.
• Transition awarded projects to Delivery and provide initial project management support during implementation.
• Identify risks, market opportunities, customer needs, and new business opportunities in road user services and tolling systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• More than five years of bid management and project management experience, preferably in IT and infrastructure environments.
• Experience managing complex tenders, ideally in the public sector.
• Strong sales, customer orientation, stakeholder management, communication, and interdisciplinary team coordination skills.
• Successful experience acquiring customers, expanding market opportunities, and converting opportunities into signed contracts.
• Excellent German and English communication skills are required.
