Senior Field Applications Scientist (Bioprocessing)

What you will do

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support for downstream filtration products, including seminars, demonstrations, training, troubleshooting, and on-site or in-lab customer support.
• Coordinate with sales, product management, quality assurance, marketing, and R&D teams.
• Develop and execute project plans using hirify.global technologies to address customer needs.
• Prepare technical reports, application data, collateral, posters, and seminar presentations.
• Support customers progressing from laboratory-scale development through large-scale commercial processes.
• Share customer feedback with product management and R&D to support continuous product improvement.

Requirements

• BSc degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in downstream purification within bioprocess development or manufacturing.
• Experience with filtration and chromatography, including scale-up or scale-down, technology transfer, and cGMP requirements.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to draft and execute SOPs and work instructions and resolve complex field problems independently.
• Proficiency in Chinese and English across listening, reading, writing, and speaking; willingness to travel up to 70% domestically and occasionally internationally.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of gene and cell therapy.
• Hands-on TFF operation skills and experience with column packing.
