Field Application Scientist - EMEA (Nanomedicine)

Location: Remote from Germany, with 50% international travel throughout Europe

What you will do

• Provide technical expertise to sales representatives, resellers, and customers throughout the sales process.
• Promote Cytiva's Nano Medicine products, manage leads and prospects, develop opportunities, and support account penetration.
• Evaluate customer processes, identify suitable solutions, and contribute to account plans and commercial goals.
• Build relationships with key customer decision makers and communicate market, competitive, and customer insights to Marketing and Product Development.
• Conduct customer training, applications-based seminars, product demonstrations, and technical training for sales teams.
• Provide phone, email, and in-person applications support, troubleshooting user skills, applications, and instruments.

Requirements

• Master's degree in genomic medicine or nanomedicine.
• 3–5 years of experience in applications or laboratory work involving nanoparticle formulation, drug delivery, or cell biology.
• Experience troubleshooting instrumentation and applications.
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, account management, communication, scientific presentation, and technical writing skills.
• Ability to work independently, support customer satisfaction, and contribute effectively in a commercial team environment.
• Valid driver's license and willingness and ability to travel internationally throughout Europe; the role involves 50% travel.
