Assistant Manager - Optical

Location: Alpharetta, Georgia, USA; onsite at the optical retail store

What you will do

• Monitor profit, sales, performance goals, and store financial reports.
• Oversee eyeglass department operations, efficiency, quality standards, and policy compliance.
• Lead, coach, motivate, and supervise Opticians, contact lens sales associates, and other store staff.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure associates meet service standards.
• Coordinate promotions, advertising, visual merchandising, reporting, and communication with management.
• Support staffing forecasts, recruiting, selection, and retention of store associates.

Requirements

• Optical sales experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, and build effective associate relationships.
• Understanding of store operations and performance standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• Ability to work onsite in Alpharetta, Georgia, USA.
