SAP FICO Consultant (ITAR)

Location: Remote within the United States; Charlotte, NC

What you will do

• Configure and support SAP FICO processes across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, cost centers, profit centers, internal orders, and product costing.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions and functional specifications.
• Support financial closing, tax procedures, intercompany transactions, reporting, and audit requirements.
• Coordinate with technical teams and integrate SAP FICO with MM, SD, PP, PS, and other SAP modules.
• Manage data migration, testing, cutover, UAT, production support, hypercare, and knowledge transfer.
• Analyze production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement with business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive SAP Finance and Controlling experience with at least 2–3 end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
• Strong knowledge of financial closing, month-end and year-end processes, financial reporting, tax procedures, and intercompany transactions.
• Experience with data migration, master data management, testing, cutover, UAT, production support, and hypercare.
• Experience working in global delivery environments and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, documentation, and root cause analysis skills.
• ITAR-related eligibility and United States location requirement apply.

Nice to have

• SAP S/4HANA Finance experience.
• SAP Fiori and reporting tools experience.
• Knowledge of CO-PA, FSCM, Treasury, or Group Reporting.
• Exposure to Agile and SAP Activate methodologies.
