Senior Business Analyst (AI)

Location: Lviv, Ukraine

What you will do

• Own business analysis and requirements gathering for a client ecommerce platform across merchandising, operations, finance, marketing, and customer experience.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items.
• Lead discovery activities, workshops, solution exploration, prioritization, MVP definition, backlog refinement, and change management.
• Analyze business processes, integrations, APIs, data flows, and system dependencies; create wireframes, user flows, process diagrams, and prototypes.
• Build small-to-medium internal applications with AI-assisted development tools and prototype LLM-powered functionality for business workflows.
• Coordinate UAT, demos, release planning, risk mitigation, pre-sales discovery, and collaboration between business, engineering, and QA teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of business analysis experience in software development projects, including direct stakeholder or client-facing ownership.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum, SDLC, requirements management, process modeling, prototyping, and requirements visualization.
• Experience with complex systems, integrations, APIs, business processes, SQL-based analysis, and advanced Excel or Google Sheets.
• Current hands-on experience with AI-assisted development, model APIs, prompt design, LLM output evaluation, and identifying AI business use cases.
• Ability to independently deliver working software end to end, including an application with a database.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher required. A technical degree and strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are expected.

Nice to have

• BA, Scrum, Product Ownership, or related certifications.
• Ecommerce or retail experience, including catalog data, orders, fulfillment, and promotions.
• Experience with PIM, OMS, ERP, or similar internal business systems.
• Exposure to C#/.NET or Vue.
