Senior Frontend Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Own the architecture and evolution of the frontend platform, including the design system, application state, routing, build tooling, and performance.
• Build scalable frontend systems over a microservices architecture with resilient API integrations, caching, and graceful failure handling.
• Develop AI-powered experiences such as conversational booking, agentic workflows, and reliable streaming interfaces.
• Define best practices for AI-assisted development with tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex.
• Lead technical design discussions, review code, mentor engineers, and partner with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering.
• Own software quality from development through production, including automated testing, observability, CI/CD, feature flagging, and AWS operations.

Requirements

• Significant experience building modern web applications and complex, stateful single-page applications.
• Expert knowledge of Vue 3, including Composition API, Pinia, Nuxt, and Vue's reactivity model.
• Strong TypeScript and frontend tooling experience, including Vite, code splitting, performance optimization, and Core Web Vitals.
• Daily experience with AI coding agents and familiarity with MCP, agent frameworks, context engineering, evaluation frameworks, and user-facing AI features.
• Practical experience with AWS services including S3, CloudFront, Lambda, ECS, CI/CD pipelines, and feature flagging.
• Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, delivery, and continuous improvement skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in business travel, fintech, or B2B SaaS.
• Experience with micro-frontend architectures and design systems.
• Open-source contributions in the Vue or AI tooling ecosystem.
