TL;DR
Frontend Engineer (Vue/TypeScript): Developing and operating web products for mobile securities applications, PC trading sites, and business management tools with an accent on investment experiences, prototyping, and modern frontend architecture. Focus on unit testing, architecture improvements, frontend performance optimization, and CI/CD pipeline development.
Location: Japan residents only; hybrid work from home or the Tokyo headquarters

PayPay Securities provides mobile securities and asset management services within PayPay’s financial ecosystem.
What you will do
- Develop and operate web products, including PayPay Securities mini-applications, PC trading sites, and business management tools.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Designers, engineers, and QAs to customize asset management and investment experiences.
- Prototype new features and redesigned interfaces.
- Improve unit tests, frontend architecture, performance monitoring, and deployment practices.
- Help build a new frontend organization and development environment.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of in-house web product development experience.
- Professional experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js, and TypeScript.
- Knowledge of modern web development methods and JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and a strong sense of ownership.
- Business-level English or Japanese; native Japanese or JLPT N1-equivalent Japanese is required.
- Must be a resident of Japan.
Nice to have
- Experience developing securities or finance-related applications.
- Experience with unit testing and TDD, Agile development, frontend performance optimization, or in-house service operation.
- Experience building frontend CI/CD infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Business-level spoken English.
