TL;DR
Software Developer Intern (React): Delivering high-quality software and services for Kobo users with an accent on React, web technologies, object-oriented programming, and T-SQL databases. Focus on building and delivering software with developers and testers while using source control and working independently on assigned tasks.

Location: Dublin, Ireland; remote working environment available

What you will do

  • Contribute to delivering high-quality software to Kobo users.
  • Work with the Global Delivery team, including developers and testers.
  • Help ensure Kobo services and offerings are available to internal and external customers.
  • Work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with the team.

Requirements

  • Experience with React.
  • Some experience with an object-oriented programming language such as C# or Java.
  • Understanding of T-SQL databases.
  • Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Knowledge of source control systems such as Git or TFS.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of server-side web technologies such as Web API and MVC.
  • Experience with an ORM framework such as NHibernate or Entity Framework.
