Scale Solution Engineer (AI)

Location: Heredia, Costa Rica

What you will do

• Provide technical assistance to customers from pre-sales evaluation through onboarding and production.
• Build and use AI-augmented workflows to deliver technical guidance at scale.
• Advise customers on technical decisions involving the Databricks Data + AI Platform.
• Work with multiple customers concurrently to develop technical solutions.
• Assess customer needs, address objections, foster relationships, and communicate platform value.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a technical role, preferably in data, AI, or cloud.
• Knowledge of at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of AI-driven development with Python or SQL.
• Understanding of end-to-end data analytics and data engineering workflows.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in consulting or pre-sales.
• Experience with agentic solutions.
