Platform & Infrastructure Lead

Location: Toronto, Canada; flexible hybrid work model

Salary: CAD 115,000–125,000 per year, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan

What you will do

• Lead the design, operation, and continuous improvement of physical and virtual infrastructure platforms supporting products and services.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, Security, Program, and Operations teams on scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions.
• Guide OpenShift cluster design, network segmentation, API and messaging connectivity, ingress and egress patterns, and infrastructure security controls.
• Manage operating systems, monitoring, capacity, availability, backup and recovery, and service-level objectives for critical systems.
• Define and test disaster recovery strategies, including site failover, partial region loss, failback, and RPO/RTO objectives.
• Manage vendors, technical documentation, audits, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and mentorship for Platform and Infrastructure Engineering.

Requirements

• Eligibility to work for hirify.global Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT, or 8+ years of equivalent IT experience; 7+ years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience delivering complex enterprise infrastructure projects and applying architecture, security, scalability, availability, performance, and operational best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms including Azure, Azure Stack Hub, AWS, and GCP; automation and Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Ansible, Bash, Perl, Python, and PowerShell.
• Knowledge of OpenShift, next-generation firewalls such as Palo Alto Networks, Dell and Cisco networking, backup technologies, observability, and DevSecOps tools.
• Experience managing vendors, contributing to service roadmaps, working in change-controlled environments, and mentoring technical talent.
