Automotive Technician (Automotive)

Location: 018058 Shaker Heights, United States; onsite automotive service role.

Salary: $17.50–$26.30 per hour, with a $1,500 sign-on bonus. Compensation uses a performance-based flat-rate pay model.

What you will do

• Change oil and perform scheduled vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, brake, tire, and electrical systems.
• Install batteries and vehicle parts, repair and maintain tires, and road test vehicles.
• Assist with vehicle assessments and repair procedures while developing foundational automotive service skills.
• Explain repair procedures to customers, answer inquiries, and provide service support.
• Obtain or maintain at least one A.S.E. A1–A8 certification within the first two years.

Requirements

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and perform general automotive maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of oil changes, inspections, and tire repair.
• Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Must meet U.S. employment eligibility requirements; temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify candidates.

Nice to have

• Two years of automotive repair experience.
• Completion of a related vocational-technical program or relevant third-party certification.
• A.S.E. certification or equivalent training credentials.
