Intern - Graphic Designer (Aerospace)

hirify.global supports space exploration and flight operations through technical services for the IMOC III contract.

What you will do

• Create technical designs, visual concepts, illustrations, sketches, and finished artwork for print and electronic media.
• Produce technical illustrations and graphics for Flight Operations Directorate documentation and products.
• Coordinate full-cycle production plans, gather requirements, and work with customers, publications staff, and contributing personnel.
• Perform photography for Flight Operations Directorate portraits and develop design concepts for web pages.
• Fabricate and install graphic products using matte cutters, saws, art knives, laminators, and display-mounting equipment.
• Track requests, report project progress, perform quality checks, maintain work instructions, and follow equipment safety procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in graphics, art, media design, or a related field.
• Experience with graphic design, technical drawings, and illustrations.
• Experience in graphic product fabrication.
• Ability to handle graphic art objects weighing up to 20 pounds and safely use fabrication equipment.
• Ability to communicate project status, customer issues, and production requirements clearly.

Nice to have

• NASA experience.
• Experience with PowerPoint, Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Adobe Creative Cloud, and MS Visio.
