Junior Designer

Location: Hybrid for candidates within commuting distance of the San Francisco, CA or New York, NY offices, with three in-office days per week. Fully remote work is available only to candidates residing in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Washington, D.C. at the time of hire.

Salary: $52,000–$60,000 per year

What you will do

• Create on-brand presentations, social media graphics, campaign elements, and other visual assets.
• Execute design deliverables while meeting deadlines and managing multiple smaller projects.
• Apply client brand systems, design guidelines, color theory, visual hierarchy, and layout principles.
• Incorporate feedback into revisions and clarify client goals during briefings.
• Collaborate with senior designers, account teams, and other teammates to maintain quality and brand alignment.
• Contribute ideas during brainstorming and explore how AI tools can support creative workflows.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of professional design experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating foundational visual design work and core design principles.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Familiarity with Figma.
• Strong communication, collaboration, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from feedback.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple deliverables.

Nice to have

• Agency experience.
• Visual, graphic, or motion design degree or equivalent coursework and experience.
• Exposure to Adobe After Effects and basic motion graphics principles.
