Junior Designer

Location: Hybrid for candidates within commuting distance of the New York, NY or San Francisco, CA offices, with three in-office days per week. Fully remote roles are available only to candidates residing in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Washington, D.C. at the time of hire.

Salary: $52,000–$60,000 per year

What you will do

• Create on-brand presentations, social media graphics, campaign elements, and other visual assets.
• Execute design deliverables with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
• Apply client brand systems and design guidelines consistently across projects.
• Collaborate with senior designers and account teams to develop creative concepts.
• Incorporate feedback, clarify client goals, and translate feedback into design decisions.
• Manage multiple smaller deliverables and contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of professional design experience; agency experience is a plus.
• A degree or equivalent coursework and experience in visual, graphic, or motion design.
• A portfolio demonstrating foundational visual design work and core design principles.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Familiarity with Figma, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple deadline-driven projects and incorporate feedback while continuing to learn.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Adobe After Effects.
• Basic understanding of motion graphic principles.
• Curiosity about AI tools and willingness to experiment with emerging creative workflows.
