Maintenance Mechanic II - Maintenance - Full Time

What you will do

• Operate boilers, chillers, blowers, pumps, compressors, generators, cooling towers, and other mechanical equipment.
• Perform periodic machinery checks, preventive maintenance, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Respond to refrigeration, oxygen and piped gas, heating and cooling, boiler, and generator alarms.
• Maintain boiler room and machine room logs covering steam, fuel, water, medical gas, HVAC, and testing data.
• Take first-response actions during emergencies and contingency situations according to hospital procedures.
• Monitor after-hours maintenance personnel, contractors, and vendors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of experience in plant operations and/or building maintenance required.
• Valid driver's license required and must be maintained throughout employment.
• Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with rotating on-call and holiday coverage.

Nice to have

• Post-secondary education or vocational training.
• Training in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, welding, sheet metal, automotive repair, ventilation, or clinical engineering.
• Previous experience in a healthcare environment.
