What you will do

  • Act as the lead consultant for new trustee and settlement service cases presented by LPL Advisors.
  • Analyze trust, estate, entity, investment, and special asset documents and prepare cases for legal and acceptance reviews.
  • Support financial advisors and clients through moderately complex to complex trustee cases, resolving issues and responding to inquiries.
  • Coordinate communication among advisors, trustees, attorneys, beneficiaries, external partners, and internal colleagues.
  • Manage the new business opportunity pipeline and participate in projects that improve processes and best practices.
  • Represent The Private Trust Company in business development efforts with LPL Advisors and internal LPL partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least five years of experience in trustee services, preferably with a broker-dealer or traditional bank/trust company.
  • Knowledge of financial planning, philanthropic planning, and fiduciary law.
  • Experience working with high-net-worth clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

  • CTFA, CFP, or ChFC certification.
