Assurance Associate - Fall 2027 (Accounting)

Location: Pittsburgh, United States; travel to assigned client locations is required, with up to 25% travel.

Compensation: $61,600–$73,500 per year

What you will do

• Understand clients’ businesses, industries, accounting and control systems, values, and applicable GAAP and GAAS issues.
• Develop an understanding of the audit approach and supporting tools.
• Assess risks and evaluate clients’ internal control structures.
• Perform substantive tests and tests of internal controls to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues.
• Draft financial statements in prescribed formats.
• Work across multiple client engagements and collaborate with engagement teams.

Requirements

• B.A. or B.S. degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university by the start of employment.
• Accounting major.
• Ability to travel up to 25% and arrange reliable transportation to client locations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
