Associate Power BI Developer

Location: Fully remote within the United States, or from hirify.global's corporate offices in Newport News, Virginia, according to company policy.

Pay range: $4,799.70–$7,791.30; the posting states that ranges are monthly for salaried roles or hourly for other roles.

What you will do

• Develop, publish, and schedule interactive Power BI reports and dashboards for business requirements.
• Build Power BI datasets and reporting by combining data from Azure data warehouse environments.
• Use SQL and DAX to implement complex business logic, metrics, and analytics.
• Assist with enterprise data models using Power BI, SSAS, AAS, and data flows.
• Collaborate with the BI team and business users on schemas, requirements, data models, and prototypes.
• Automate reporting and processes, support ad-hoc access to large datasets, and implement Row Level Security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting information systems, business, finance, accounting, computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Beginner to intermediate understanding of DAX and SQL.
• 2–4+ years of experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards, critical metrics, and scorecards.
• 2–4+ years of experience with data analytics technologies such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience with requirement analysis, design, and prototyping.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, self-motivation, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience with Sage X3.
• Experience with the Microsoft Azure platform.
