Strategy Business Analyst (Power Derivatives)

What you will do

• Support the development and scaling of the Power Derivatives business through business development, market analysis, and project coordination.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and analyse business performance to identify improvements and actionable solutions.
• Research market opportunities and customer needs through desktop research, client meetings, and conference attendance.
• Coordinate with Sales, Product, Finance, Legal, Nord Pool sales, and the hirify.global membership department.
• Support new-client onboarding and prepare spreadsheets, presentations, reports, and recommendations.
• Contribute to expansion into new markets and the launch of new products in the Power Futures segment.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in business, economics, finance, or engineering.
• At least one internship or work experience in the energy industry, strategy consulting, or a fast-growing business.
• Experience analysing data, working with large data sets, and creating reports and presentations.
• Fluent English required; French or a Nordic language is an advantage.
• Strong interest in energy economics, power markets, and the energy sector.
• Experience in project management and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI is an advantage.
