C# Developer

Location: 100% remote within the United States; candidates from California, Colorado, Illinois, New Jersey, or New York will not be considered. U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust (MBI) clearance are required.

Salary: $85,389–$116,975 per year

What you will do

• Plan requirements, test strategies, software integration, technical support, and full software product lifecycles.
• Develop and maintain .NET back-end applications in C# using MVC architecture, APIs, databases, and Entity Framework.
• Build, test, deploy, and support enterprise applications through CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement reusable solutions and software building blocks within an Agile framework.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and development colleagues, participate in daily stand-ups, and document software designs.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and improve application performance, quality, and responsiveness.

Requirements

• Five or more years of professional software development experience using .NET technologies, or the applicable experience level associated with the required degree.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, object-oriented programming, design patterns, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
• Experience with unit testing, Git or TFS/TFVC, Visual Studio, Agile methodologies, CI/CD, DevOps, infrastructure as code, and web application security.
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying complex enterprise-level applications and leading development initiatives.
• U.S. citizenship is required, and candidates must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI).

Nice to have

• Experience with EDI X12 medical claims, including 837, 834, and 277 transactions.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization with Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, or Amazon EKS.
