Principal QA Engineer – Automation (Azure)

Location: Copenhagen; hybrid work with two days per week in the office and remote work on the other days

What you will do

• Build and maintain automated tests for the Digital Engagement Platform and its modernization to DEP 2.0.
• Automate UI, API, data, load, and data-ingestion testing across multiple sources.
• Collaborate with three agile development teams to understand requirements, challenge assumptions, and assess solutions.
• Contribute to test strategies, test management, release coordination, and continuous improvement of testing processes.
• Perform targeted manual testing while increasing overall test automation coverage.
• Support maintainability, observability, performance, scalability, security, and CI/CD in the Azure cloud environment.

Requirements

• Experience with QA automation, automated UI testing using Selenium or Cypress, and automated API-based feature testing.
• Experience with C# and .NET development, Microsoft Azure, and continuous integration and delivery.
• Knowledge of TDD, agile testing, testing methodologies, data-driven testing, and automated data testing.
• Ability to conduct manual application testing and organize effective test cases.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with xUnit, NUnit, RestSharp, Moq, AutoMapper, FluentAssertions, or SpecFlow.
• Knowledge of dbt, JMeter, Postman, Azure Load Testing, Azure DevOps, or Docker/Kubernetes.
