CTO (AI)

Location: Remote, with access to hubs in Dubai, Yerevan, London, and Belgrade

hirify.global is building Mira, a personal AI agent that operates inside Telegram across personal and group chats.

What you will do

• Lead and grow the engineering team, currently consisting of four engineers.
• Set the technical direction and oversee AI agent systems for high-load B2C traffic and enterprise clients.
• Architect multi-agent pipelines and scalable distributed infrastructure.
• Own the technical stack across TypeScript, Restate, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Define engineering processes, code quality standards, and deployment practices.
• Collaborate with product and design, make infrastructure and model decisions, and hire and mentor senior engineers.

Requirements

• At least five years of engineering experience, including two or more years in a technical leadership role.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping AI agents or LLM-based products in production.
• Strong TypeScript skills and experience designing distributed systems.
• Experience operating Kubernetes and AWS at scale.
• Deep understanding of high-load B2C systems, including latency, reliability, and scalability.
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams and deliver products from 0→1 and 1→N.
