Senior Commercial Analyst (Fintech)

Location: London, UK; hybrid schedule with office attendance on most weekdays and remote work available on Mondays and Fridays

What you will do

• Work on pricing, loans funnel performance, and new product development within the UK Loans team.
• Frame ambiguous business problems as testable questions and structured analyses.
• Research and propose improvements to pricing strategies, products, and features.
• Define metrics, form hypotheses, evaluate trade-offs, and use data to guide decisions.
• Communicate analytical results clearly to product, credit, and other stakeholders.
• Share ideas and contribute to the team's analytical knowledge base.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in an analytical or product-facing role, ideally in fintech.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with rigorous problem-solving ability.
• Confident use of SQL and data for independent business analysis.
• Experience defining metrics, forming hypotheses, and evaluating trade-offs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to take ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience with pricing or financial modelling.
• Interest in Python or other data-analysis tools.
