About the Role

You will oversee annual federal and state tax updates from research through launch. You will translate tax law changes into product requirements, review targeted code changes, support quality assurance and testing, and help resolve filing defects and rejections. You will also use automation and AI-assisted tools to improve product accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a tax analyst or specialist on a tax software product
• Experience creating regression test scenarios
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Methodical organized and detail-oriented working style
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Enrolled Agent certification preferred
• Ability to read and interpret code
• CPA qualification a plus
• Java experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Own federal and state annual tax updates from research through launch
• Use AI-assisted tools and automation to compare forms map code and draft requirements
• Translate tax changes into requirements for interfaces help calculations PDFs e-file files and testing
• Make and review targeted code changes
• Partner with specialists engineers and quality engineers through testing and launch
• Triage filing defects and rejections
• Coordinate solutions with tax agencies and internal partners
