Sr. Applied AI Software Engineer in Linux Agent (AI/Linux/C++/Python): Designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting endpoint security software for commercial customers with an accent on AI-assisted development, Linux troubleshooting, automation testing, and full-lifecycle delivery. What you will do
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support high-quality Linux agent and endpoint security software.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and MCP servers to improve development speed, code quality, and prototyping.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, developers, QA, UI designers, and other stakeholders on requirements, integrations, and issue resolution.
- Create and execute test cases and scripts covering functionality, performance, reliability, and security.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Automate and improve development and release processes.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- Familiarity with Linux and troubleshooting environment- or system-related issues.
- Familiarity with C/C++, Python, or Golang.
- Familiarity with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, pytest, or Robot Framework.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD processes such as GitHub Actions.
- Good English communication skills, proactive attitude, problem-solving ability, and effective teamwork in agile environments.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of enterprise network environments and cloud technology.
- Experience with scripting and containers, including Lua, Bash, or Docker.
- Experience with data insight tools such as Azure Data Explorer.
- Experience developing and maintaining user-mode DLLs and kernel-mode drivers.
- Experience with test management platforms such as TestRail and visualizing test logic to improve coverage and identify edge cases.
