Salary: NZ$114,400–NZ$140,000 per year, depending on skills and experience

What you will do
- Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of centrally managed examination and assessment services.
- Provide strategic leadership for assessment operations, systems, technologies, and the digital assessment platform.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team while fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
- Partner with academic and professional leaders to support learning and teaching priorities.
- Drive assessment transformation, service enhancements, strategic projects, risk planning, and business continuity.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to improve assessment practices and services.
Requirements
- Significant leadership experience in a large and complex organisation.
- Experience leading high-volume operational services and teams through transformation and change.
- Experience leading service, systems, and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills at all organisational levels.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and strategic insight skills, including the ability to analyse complex data.
- Understanding of learning, assessment, equity, and student-centred service delivery; commitment to te ao Māori, diversity, and inclusion.
