Data Engineer (Financial Trading)

What you will do

• Serve as a functional and technical subject matter expert for security referential data needs.
• Strengthen and maintain security referential infrastructure for trading and back-office requirements.
• Analyze production issues and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and develop automation for continuous platform improvement.
• Work with trading teams and users to resolve issues.
• Own delivery end to end, including development, testing, release, and support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in the financial trading industry.
• Extensive experience with security referential data across equities, derivatives, FX, fixed income, and crypto.
• Proficiency in Python and strong expertise in SQL databases.
• Familiarity with Unix environments and good shell scripting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
