Medical Director, Clinical Development, Endocrinology

Location: Onsite in Tarrytown, NY, Washington, D.C., or Cambridge, MA. Travel of approximately 10% to relevant conferences.

Salary: $284,900–$385,700 annually

What you will do

• Serve as Medical Lead for endocrinology clinical trials.
• Design clinical study concepts and develop clinical trial protocols.
• Oversee medical monitoring, patient safety, and adherence to regulatory guidance.
• Guide global clinical study teams to deliver high-quality trials on time.
• Lead data review, study reports, publications, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and discovery teams to advance programs and future development opportunities.

Requirements

• M.D. or equivalent, with board eligibility or board certification in Endocrinology strongly preferred.
• At least 2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience; equivalent academic research experience may be considered.
• Clinical research and clinical trial development experience.
• Experience in rare disease drug development is strongly preferred.
• Previous interaction with regulatory agencies or experience with CTD/dossier submissions in an ICH region is advantageous.
• Ability to work onsite in Tarrytown, Washington, D.C., or Cambridge is required according to role expectations.
