QA Analyst (Mexico, Remote)

What you will do

• Perform manual testing for new features, bug fixes, and low- to moderate-complexity issues.
• Validate API responses and database interactions to support application reliability.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and retest defects in JIRA or similar tools.
• Execute regression testing and create positive and negative test cases from requirements.
• Estimate testing assignments and contribute to testing small and medium-sized features with guidance from senior staff.
• Collaborate with QA and development peers, escalate technical issues, and suggest process improvements.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Basic knowledge of software testing methodologies and manual testing.
• Familiarity with QA tools such as JIRA or Postman.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and database testing.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• B2 English or higher required; candidates must be based in Mexico for this remote role.
