Quality Microbiologist (Manufacturing)

Location: Mariscala Plant; onsite manufacturing environment

What you will do

• Analyze monthly and annual microbiological data trends, including MDM, Celsis, and enrichment results, across manufacturing sites.
• Support microbiological risk assessments, data integrity assessments, and MRA/MRAg renewals.
• Manage CAPAs, investigations, and non-conformance reports related to microbiological observations under guidance.
• Contribute to initiatives that reduce microbiological deviations and improve quality performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and other cross-functional teams on risk assessments and daily DDS actions.
• Support audit readiness and deliver training on microbiological quality requirements.

Requirements

• Recent graduate in Biotechnology, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, or a related field, or experience in microbiological quality assurance and manufacturing.
• Foundational knowledge of Quality Management Systems, data analysis, and microbiological risk assessment concepts.
• Proficiency in, or willingness to learn, Veeva or similar QMS software for CAPA, investigation, and NCR management.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and project ownership skills.
• Ability to work standard hours at the Mariscala Plant.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI and microbiological quality data visualization.
• Experience with Quality Control laboratory audits and technical training delivery.
• Project management experience focused on quality improvement objectives.
• Experience reducing microbiological observations or eliminating critical open observations.
