Field CISO - Client Advisory (Cybersecurity)

Location: Fully remote within the assigned central US geography, from Minnesota to Texas. The posting also lists Kansas City, Missouri.

What you will do

• Advise clients on business objectives, risk tolerance, cybersecurity posture, and actionable security solutions.
• Lead security assessments and workshops and prepare presentations, proposals, and value propositions for technical and executive audiences.
• Partner with field sales teams to identify opportunities and design security solutions and services engagements.
• Build relationships with CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, and security teams while contributing to thought leadership, industry events, and conference presentations.
• Track security threats, vulnerabilities, compliance requirements, frameworks, and emerging technologies to provide insights to clients and internal teams.
• Influence future services and solution development by sharing market trends and client needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience focused on consulting, architecture, or leadership.
• Experience working with enterprise clients and developing tailored security solutions.
• Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and other security frameworks and standards.
• Technical expertise in network security, cloud security, endpoint security, and incident response.
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills for technical and executive audiences.
