Field CISO - Client Advisory (Cybersecurity)

Location: Fully remote within the assigned central US geography, from Minnesota to Texas; listed location is Kansas City, Missouri

What you will do

• Advise clients on business objectives, risk tolerance, cybersecurity posture, and actionable security solutions.
• Lead security assessments and workshops, and develop presentations, proposals, and value propositions for technical and executive audiences.
• Collaborate with field sales teams to identify opportunities and design security solutions and services engagements.
• Build relationships with CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, and security teams while contributing to client retention and industry thought leadership.
• Track threats, vulnerabilities, compliance requirements, frameworks, and technology trends, sharing insights with clients and internal teams.
• Represent hirify.global at industry events and provide feedback that influences service and solution development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, focused on consulting, architecture, or leadership roles.
• Experience working with enterprise clients, understanding their security challenges, and developing tailored solutions.
• Deep understanding of security frameworks and standards including NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
• Strong technical skills in network security, cloud security, endpoint security, and incident response.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for technical and executive audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for assessing complex situations and developing effective solutions.
