Infrastructure Security Team Lead

Location: Fully remote within the United States; hybrid schedule stated. US citizenship is required to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.

Salary: $143,230–$214,240 annually.

What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and operation of security controls across network security, security and compliance, ICAM, boundary protection, and ATO lifecycle management.
• Develop and execute security roadmaps aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Own security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments for infrastructure.
• Establish incident response, detection, recovery, vulnerability, patch, configuration management, and hardening capabilities; lead major incidents and post-incident reviews.
• Define security policies, standards, procedures, documentation, runbooks, and playbooks aligned with NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, FISMA, and FedRAMP as applicable.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps/DevSecOps, and cloud teams; manage and mentor security engineers, analysts, IAM specialists, and boundary specialists; report security metrics and risks to executives and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience, or commensurate experience.
• 12 years of progressive information security experience.
• 3–5 years in a leadership or lead role.
• Must be clearable up to an active Secret clearance.
• US citizenship is required to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.
• CISSP certification is required.

Nice to have

• Additional certifications such as CISM, CISA, CCSP, CEH, or CCIE Security.
• US Coast Guard experience.
• Experience in security architecture and engineering, leadership and people management, risk management and compliance, incident response and crisis management, IAM/ICAM governance, boundary/perimeter security, communication and stakeholder engagement, and strategic thinking and roadmapping.
