TL;DR
UX/UI Designer (Figma/UX Research): Creating intuitive, accessible, and visually consistent digital experiences across web and mobile platforms with an accent on user research, responsive interface design, and scalable design systems. Focus on prototyping complex user journeys, optimizing conversion flows through analytics and A/B testing, and ensuring accurate developer implementation.
Location: Remote in South Africa or Kenya; working hours aligned with U.S. business hours

is sourcing candidates for a client developing web and mobile digital products.
What you will do
- Conduct user research, usability testing, surveys, and user behavior analysis.
- Create personas, journey maps, user flows, information architecture, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Design responsive, accessible interfaces and maintain scalable design systems, component libraries, and style guides.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders during planning, reviews, and implementation.
- Prepare organized developer handoffs using Figma Dev Mode, Zeplin, or similar tools.
- Use analytics, A/B testing, and usability findings to improve user journeys, onboarding, engagement, and conversion.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in UX/UI, product, or digital design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI work.
- Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, usability, accessibility, responsive design, typography, spacing, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience creating user flows, interactive prototypes, and design systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and iterate quickly.
Nice to have
- Experience designing SaaS platforms, mobile applications, or e-commerce products.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for developer collaboration.
- Experience with Hotjar, FullStory, Google Analytics, or similar behavior analytics tools.
- Experience in Agile or sprint-based product teams.
- Exposure to conversion optimization and growth-focused design.
