Senior Mobile Engineer (iOS/Android)

Location: Remote for candidates inside Poland; working hours aligned with Central European Time.

Salary: $6,200–$8,800 per month on a B2B contract.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy features across core native iOS and Android applications.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering partners to refine concepts and deliver customer-focused mobile experiences.
• Lead code and architectural reviews while improving mobile engineering practices and code quality standards.
• Optimize application performance, stability, responsiveness, scalability, and usability across mobile platforms.
• Run high-velocity experiments and A/B tests, and resolve defects, bottlenecks, and technical issues.
• Write and maintain automated tests, refactor existing code, and improve maintainability and developer efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience developing commercial mobile applications for iOS, Android, or both.
• Advanced experience with native mobile development using Swift and Kotlin.
• Experience with mobile frameworks, libraries, architecture patterns, platform best practices, REST APIs, and backend services.
• Proficiency with Git and modern mobile software development workflows, including code reviews and architectural decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve workflows and outputs.

Nice to have

• Experience with Objective-C for iOS and/or Java for Android.
• Strong continuous integration and continuous deployment experience for mobile applications.
• Experience with performance monitoring, memory profiling, and optimization tools.
• Familiarity with mobile design principles, interface guidelines, push notifications, and platform services.
