Software Engineer III (Java & JavaScript) (Identity & Access Management)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, review, and maintain moderately complex software components.
• Build and operate authentication and authorisation infrastructure for a global product suite.
• Integrate identity providers, entitlement services, and downstream APIs on AWS ECS and EKS.
• Translate product requirements into software designs and detailed specifications.
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders in Agile and other development environments.
• Resolve technical issues, complete bug fixes, and contribute to code quality and review practices.

Requirements

• Professional experience with Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, HTML, Node, React, XML, SQL, Windows, and UNIX.
• Experience with Keycloak, Auth0, or another identity provider, including realm configuration, authentication flows, and OIDC client setup.
• Understanding of data modelling, complex data models, data manipulation languages, and data storage subsystems.
• Knowledge of test-driven development, code coverage, unit testing, and software development methodologies.
• Proficiency with GitHub workflows, pull requests, issue tracking, and collaborative development.
• Ability to design software components, solve technical problems, and complete moderately complex bug fixes.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Codex.
• Experience with Terraform or another infrastructure-as-code tool.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
