Technical Product Owner (Observability Event Management)

Location: Warsaw Downtown Office, Poland; hybrid work with the option to work from home two days a week

What you will do

• Own the functional design and capability roadmap for an enterprise observability event management platform.
• Define event ingestion, correlation, enrichment, anomaly detection, incident intelligence, and remediation orchestration capabilities.
• Work with SREs, operations teams, platform engineers, application owners, and architects to investigate operational pain points and failure modes.
• Create functional specifications, user journeys, integration requirements, non-functional expectations, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with engineering and architecture teams on APIs, event and data models, machine learning approaches, scalability, security, and extensibility.
• Validate product quality and measurable improvements in MTTD, MTTR, incident volume, automation coverage, self-healing, and SLO compliance.

Requirements

• Engineering or deeply technical product experience in areas such as software engineering, platform engineering, SRE, observability, solution architecture, data/ML engineering, or technical product ownership.
• Experience delivering enterprise-grade, data-intensive, AI-powered, infrastructure, observability, or automation products.
• Strong technical understanding of cloud and distributed systems, event-driven architectures, APIs, data pipelines, telemetry, and AI/ML fundamentals.
• Ability to define functional product architecture, detailed specifications, user journeys, non-functional expectations, and acceptance criteria.
• Excellent written and verbal English required.
• Employment is exclusively offered under a Polish full-time employment contract (Umowa o Pracę).

Nice to have

• Experience with observability and event management tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk ITSI, ServiceNow ITOM, PagerDuty, BigPanda, Moogsoft, New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry.
• Knowledge of SRE practices, event correlation, anomaly detection, topology-aware integrations, remediation orchestration, or runbook automation.
• Experience with GenAI, agentic AI, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation metrics, MCP, or human-in-the-loop automation.
• Familiarity with ITIL 4, SAFe PO/PM, PSPO, SRE, cloud, or engineering certifications.
