Automation Engineer (Cloud)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure and operational solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Develop automation scripts and tools with Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployments using Ansible, Terraform, VMware Aria Automation, or similar technologies.
• Administer Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, virtualization platforms, and cloud environments including VMware vSphere, Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Analyse IT processes, implement improvements, and apply ITIL-based change, configuration, and release management practices.
• Provide second-line support, resolve complex infrastructure issues with multiple technical groups, and maintain operational documentation and standards.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant IT infrastructure, system administration, or automation engineering experience, including 2 years in an infrastructure automation, systems engineering, or DevOps role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• English proficiency at minimum B2 level according to CEFR.
• Strong knowledge of scripting, Ansible, Infrastructure as Code, virtualization, cloud platforms, Windows Server, and Red Hat Linux.
• Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL-based processes in complex enterprise environments with multiple support teams.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, prioritization, and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud environments.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring, observability, and incident-response automation.
• Knowledge of IT security standards and infrastructure hardening practices.
• Experience in international and multicultural environments.
