General Manager (Fintech)

hirify.global is a GCC shopping and payments platform providing flexible payment services to shoppers and merchants across the Middle East.

What you will do

• Own the Central Bank of Kuwait relationship, including registration, licensing, inspections, correspondence, and ongoing supervision.
• Establish hirify.global Payments K.S.C.C. as a fully operating local entity with its own team, compliance, operations, and governance.
• Own Kuwait's commercial performance, including merchant acquisition and retention, banking and payments partnerships, marketing, and customer growth.
• Manage the local P&L, market economics, hiring plan, and cost base while coordinating with group product, credit, risk, treasury, and legal functions.
• Define the Kuwait product roadmap and introduce financing, cards, wallets, payments, and cross-border transfers as licensing and infrastructure allow.
• Represent hirify.global with regulators, banks, merchants, and other local partners.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience, including at least 3 years in general management or a senior commercial role with full P&L accountability.
• Experience launching or scaling a regulated financial services, payments, or fintech business in a GCC market.
• Experience as the named accountable executive in a financial regulator relationship, covering licensing, submissions, examinations, or remediation.
• Expertise in fintech, consumer lending or BNPL, payments and e-money, retail banking, cards, and GCC financial regulation.
• Proven merchant or B2B commercial experience, including building a partner base from a low starting point.
• Professional Arabic and English required, including the ability to handle Arabic regulatory correspondence.
