Senior Software Engineer I (Go)

Location: Mumbai, Pune, or Bangalore, India; onsite or hybrid depending on location

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain large-scale production services, web applications, data pipelines, and streaming systems.
• Develop high-quality software in accordance with coding and industry standards.
• Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
• Research, analyze, document, and communicate technical findings.
• Participate in software testing, including test review, analysis, witnessing, and certification.
• Contribute to engineering standards, development tooling, and processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Professional experience with Golang.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and Kafka.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent business experience.
• Knowledge of version control, build processes, debuggers, and test frameworks.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to new technologies, and communicate effectively with colleagues and external contacts.

Nice to have

• AWS knowledge.
• Experience with the ELK Stack, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
• Dynatrace experience.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor AI or GitHub Copilot.
