Principal AI & Data Consultant (AI/Data Consulting): Leading data and AI strategy, transformation, bespoke solution, and platform engagements from opportunity development through delivery and relationship management with an accent on governance, implementation, and measurable business impact. Focus on structuring complex consulting engagements, guiding interdisciplinary teams, bridging technical and business stakeholders, and shaping proposals and reusable consulting assets.
Location: Vienna, Austria; possibility to work from home with flexible working hours

What you will do
- Lead Data and AI strategy and transformation engagements, including use-case identification, maturity assessment, and roadmap execution.
- Establish organizational capabilities for AI adoption and business impact.
- Lead discovery and delivery of bespoke AI solutions, manage product backlogs, supervise delivery teams, and ensure user acceptance.
- Define service and operating models and oversee the delivery of data products and platforms.
- Structure complex consulting engagements, manage delivery quality, and maintain customer expectations and satisfaction.
- Support sales activities, mentor consultants and business developers, publish thought leadership content, speak at professional events, and develop reusable consulting assets.
Requirements
- University degree from a leading institution in business or STEM.
- 8+ years of combined consulting and Data and AI experience.
- Strong consulting, project management, workshop facilitation, communication, and business development skills.
- Experience in one or more relevant verticals, especially banking, insurance, life science, or manufacturing.
- Expertise in Data and AI strategy, governance, management, and implementation from idea through production.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
