Senior Manager, Software Engineering

What you will do

• Lead and develop the Shanghai software engineering organization, including software engineers, technical leads, and software architects.
• Direct software execution across multiple product development and platform projects, setting priorities, allocating resources, and managing delivery risks.
• Provide technical direction for software architecture, design, development, integration, verification, validation, and maintenance.
• Establish engineering standards and drive Agile, DevOps, continuous integration, automation, reliability, maintainability, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with global and local systems, hardware, firmware, product, quality, regulatory, operations, and service teams.
• Guide adoption of AI-augmented software engineering practices and represent the Shanghai software organization in global technical and business discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of software engineering experience, including at least 5 years leading software teams.
• Experience with cross-functional product development, software architecture, or platform development.
• Strong knowledge of software development processes, verification and validation, application engineering, Design Control, and regulated product development.
• Experience influencing stakeholders and collaborating in a global matrix organization.
• Native Chinese and fluent English are required.
