Location: Taguig City, Philippines; hybrid setup with a primary graveyard shift

What you will do

  • Investigate and resolve complex system issues, incidents, and defects escalated by users and support teams.
  • Perform SQL-based troubleshooting, data validation, database fixes, and data corrections.
  • Diagnose application code issues and troubleshoot APIs, integrations, background jobs, and platform services.
  • Manage and prioritize support tickets in line with service-level expectations.
  • Collaborate with development and business teams to identify root causes, implement fixes, and maintain platform stability.
  • Document fixes and preventative actions while escalating issues to engineering only when they exceed Tier 2 scope.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Tier 2 or second-line technical support, owning complex incidents through resolution.
  • Confident use of SQL or equivalent database technologies, log analysis, and system monitoring tools.
  • Experience supporting cloud-hosted platforms and production environments.
  • Understanding of health or research data, data quality, information governance, and GDPR.
  • Clear communication skills for working with researchers, product teams, developers, and stakeholders.
  • Availability for a shifting schedule, primarily a graveyard shift, and a hybrid work setup in Taguig City, Philippines.
