Sr. Director (Y Coach), AI Engineering (TrendAI)

What you will do

• Define and drive the organization-wide AI transformation roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
• Represent engineering progress and investment in executive- and board-level discussions.
• Manage multiple Engineering Managers, including hiring, development, and performance management.
• Partner with Product, Research, Security, and Infrastructure leaders on complex cross-functional AI programs.
• Establish AI engineering governance covering architecture decisions, quality benchmarks, risk management, reliability, security, and compliance.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering or AI/ML-related fields.
• 5+ years of experience managing Engineering Managers and other managers.
• Proven experience leading large-scale AI transformation from strategy through organizational adoption.
• Strategic understanding of GenAI and AI platform trends, including investment and architecture decisions.
• Experience managing engineering organizations across product lines or regions and driving organizational change.
• Strong influence and alignment-building skills across functions and organizational levels.

Nice to have

• Background in cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS.
• Familiarity with large-scale cloud-native architecture on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience leading cross-cultural or international teams.
